In this session, we will see the high level steps to install or configure Oracle Two node RAC on Linux.
Oracle Real Application Cluster is software or product, combination of two major software or products:--
Step-1 Installation of Operating System on both servers (minimum two server required for Two-Node RAC).
Step-2 Configuration of IP Addresses for Oracle Real Application Cluster system.
Step-3 Preparing Operating System for Installation of Oracle Grid Infrastructure and Oracle database software.
Step-4 Preparing Storage for both servers to Install Oracle Grid Infrastructure software and Oracle database.
Step-5 Start installation of Oracle Grid Infrastructure software first.
Step-6 Crosscheck after Installation of Oracle Grid Infrastructure software.
Step-6 Start installation of Oracle Database software.
Step-7 Crosscheck after Installation of Oracle database software.
Thanks.......All the steps will be perform by multiple teams in organization, but here we are using Oracle VM virtual Box for learnings purpose.
